A. MARCH 19, 2004, BOARD OF DIRECTORS MONTHLY MEETING: Grover Jackson called the BOD to order at 1330 hours in the SSFCU Dirctor’s Board Room. Attendees: Grover Jackson, Chris Cook, Bob Cope, Dan Dapolito, Grover McMakin, Doug Holden, Bob Baert, Okey Warden, Joe Hurst, Jim Mayer, John Worthington and Ken Williams representing AIA.

B. MINUTES: The BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING, February 13, 2004, minutes were reviewed and approved.

C. TREASURER’S REPORT: Bob Cope provided the monthly financial report, which will be filed for audit.

D. OLD BUSINESS:

ROAD IN ARMENIA – Grover Jackson stated that action is pending at AIA.

E. FUNCTIONAL AREAS:

1) Okey Warden reported $3,700 contributions from Partners thus far in 2004. He advised the Board of potential contributors.
2) Dan Dapolito advised that the March Newsletter has received some criticism over an item considered political. The Board agreed that the standard disclaimer covers the situation.
3) Chris Cook said that the Lackland Gateway Club had provided a contract for the VIP Room and Hors-d’oeuvres for an 8 June Social. The speaker will be General Shaefer. Grover McMakin and Bob Baert will work post card publicity.
4) Ken Williams said that he would check on reservations for Stapleton Park and the Band of the West for this year’s reunion.
